Getting Here
By Car
From Cairns (25km), take the scenic Kuranda Range Road (Kennedy Highway) from Smithfield. The winding mountain road offers spectacular views and takes approximately 30 minutes. Alternatively, take the Gillies Highway via Gordonvale for a much longer but less winding route.
By Skyrail
Experience the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, a 7.5km journey over the rainforest canopy with stops at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations.
By Scenic Railway
Take the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway from Cairns Central Station through 15 tunnels and over dozens of bridges, with views of waterfalls and gorges. Should you decide to arrive at the Lodge via the train please be advised that only a day pack can be bought along with you.
From Cairns Airport
The lodge is approximately 35km from Cairns International Airport. Car hire is available at the airport, or we can arrange transfers upon request.
